Small Things, Quietly Beautiful (• ᵕ •)

nature · aesthetics · the ordinary · a recap

There’s this habit I’ve been trying to build — actually looking at things. Not scrolling past them, not half-noticing them. Actually stopping and thinking “wait, that’s kind of beautiful isn’t it.” (˘³˘)♡

These are some of those moments. Nothing dramatic. Just the small stuff that somehow sticks with you longer than the big things do.

(*・ω・)ノ On Noticing Things

I think the older you get the faster everything moves. Or maybe it’s just that you stop looking as carefully. (´• ω •`)

When I was younger everything felt worth examining — a weird shaped rock, the way light hit a dusty window, the texture of an old wall. Somewhere along the way you start calling those things “normal” and stop seeing them.

This is me trying to unlearn that a little. Pointing a camera at the ordinary and saying hey, this was worth remembering. (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

The most beautiful things aren’t always the ones people travel thousands of miles to see. Sometimes it’s just the right light at the right moment on a completely unremarkable afternoon.

No deep meaning here. Just things I saw, thought were kind of beautiful, and didn’t want to forget. ♡

More of these coming whenever I remember to actually look up from my screen. ٩(◕‿◕。)۶
